Old Dominion Insulation was officially established on April 6, 1981. Founded by Roddy Davoud in Midlothian, VA.


The ODI apprenticeship program was established on October 1,1985 as one of Virginia’s first privately owned insulation focused apprenticeship program.


E & C Insulation was founded as a women owned entity for Asbestos Abatement work by Emily and Cindy Collier. 


Old Dominion Insulation opens a branch office in Virginia Beach. 


Old Dominion Insulation moves to a 9,000 sq. ft. Headquarters in Midlothian, Virginia to accommodate growth and expansion in the industrial industry.   


Old Dominion Insulation opens a branch office in Siler City, North Carolina.      


Old Dominion Firestopping becomes an official entity to work alongside Old Dominion Insulation. Since 1987, the team began to gain firestopping experience.     


Drill Core is created to provide core-drilling and saw-cutting solutions.       


Old Dominion Insulation expands its headquarters and moves to a new 40,000 sq. ft. building to accommodate affiliate entities and future growth.

Old Dominion Firestopping enters the Nashville, TN market and establishes a new branch office.

Jeff Davoud, son of Roddy Davoud, founder of Old Dominion Insulation, takes over as CEO of Old Dominion Insulation.


Chris Davoud, son of Roddy Davoud and Randy Robinson add Integrated Scaffolding Concepts. Chris Davoud becomes CEO of Integrated Scaffolding Concepts.


Old Dominion Insulation and Old Dominion Abatement & Demolition expand and open an office branch in Baltimore, MD.

Torque Supply is added as a new affiliate company to bring in safety supply solutions.

Old Dominion Healthcare Services is formed as the expert in Infection Control Risk Assessment (OCRA) Containments to meet a wide range of healthcare facility projects.


Old Dominion Specialties is created as a leading contractor in turnkey Division 10 services and related building specialty products.

Old Dominion Insulation opens a branch office in Newark, Delaware.
